Minecraft anyone?

Today is my last day of work before my holidays vacation time. Tomorrow morning, me and my family will go to Mont-Joli, near Rimouski. It's a little coastal town, to the North-East (from Montreal), and it'll take about 7 hours to get there. We're prepared though, so it won't feel that long, and I'll probably sleep anyway. We'll stop at Québec, visit my grandma, then we'll leave to our destination.

Anyway, this monday I got back into Minecraft. To inspect, you know, just a little 5 minutes to recall what I already did. Well, the sucker got 4 hours from me in one day! (XD)
It was relaxing, compared to the furious Meat Boy. I could work freely on some projects, notably getting rid of all the ugly stuff there is. Best example was the cobblestone remnant of the magma hill. In my halloween video, I tried to change all of it into obsidian. I only got one block  and leaved the rest there. 138 cobblestones blocks later, it's gone. The leaves withering is also fixed, so I went and broke all of the floating tree corpses.

There was also this weird mini-desert right in front of my keep. That was also a sore, so I built 30 stone shovels and removed it all. I was 2 shovels short, so I got a little over 2k blocks of sand. It wasn't hard, but it was tedious, so I enjoyed some music while hacking the blocks apart (I didn't record that. Doubt you would have liked it anyway). There was 12 iron ores at the bottom of it, SWEET! With the empty hole, I'm planning to do a lake. The sea isn't far, so I'm thinking about digging a tunnel from the sea to this hole, and see if it's gonna fill it (Trying to fool the game into thinking the ''lake'' will be a part of itself, generating infinite water cubes). I'm nearly sure it won't work somehow and will think of something if necessary. I WILL get my lake!

And maybe a waterfall with a secret entrance to the keep. We'll see...

I also finished my wheat farm. It's small, but functional, and is located to the right of my keep. Using one block of water, I placed it around 15 blocks higher than the farm itself and splitted the resulting stream into 9, feeding the 10 rows. I also staged the crops area, so every 5 blocks of crops, I go down by one block. I will expand everything at a later time, but for now  I have 9 times 10 blocks of crops growing. It should be enough. Oh, and the same water stream will be used to feed the reed farm, which will be lower, under the plateau beside the keep. Didn't worked on that though, it'll have to wait until I get back home.

talking of the plateau, which is a spider//creeper nest... I'll start by flattening the hell out of it, then planting trees and other plants. I'll probably make three gardening zones for trees (my wood soucre) and other plants like cactuses (is it even written like that?), flowers , mushrooms, etc. Most of these plants cannot generate more of themselves, so it'll be for cosmetics only. Before that, the keep needs renovations.

The keep itself is ugly, lame, and the portal inside is simply annoying, so i'll put it down and expand. The keep will become sort of a workshop//barracks emplacements and will features storage rooms, a trash incinerator with pretty brick walls, a locked entrance only accessible by me (or other players, if Vista let me :S), and some other cosmetic places that I will deal with later. Something like a dining room, living quarters, towers, a ''Big Boss office'' or just captain's room, or whatever, a side bridge to go on the plateau itself and probably a port. Oh, and sexy ramparts, why not. The portal whould be either on the highest tower or in a completely different building, just for the annoyances.

Oh, and I also discovered a new cave, which is gigantic. God damn swiss cheese all over again, it ain't over soon!

That pretty much covers everything I had to share for now. I will post another blog soon featuring the main points I should focus on. Your suggestions may get into toe list, so don't be shy! I'll record most of the result when I'll come back, and you'll see me working on the rest (in some music timelapse videos, probably. As if you'd like to hear me rambling for hours :D) We will also check the cave, and I still have to invent a code to get out easily. Last time, I had to build a shaft going straight up :S

Oh, please help this blog grow by clicking the ''like'' button, by sharing the blog, and commenting! I usually respond to your comments and questions and this little help from you is always appreciated. It's a big help!

Quebecois and winter...

It's always the same. I don't care about being a french canadian myself, it made Disney a lot more interesting. Just what they did to Maleficent is a nice touch. Sad for video games, which makes them worse except for those made by Ubisoft.(except A Link To The Past and X-Com: UFO Defense, I can't think of any quality translated game at all. And that's without counting the voices, which are generally horribles.), but now I'm bilingual, so it has it's uses. Books are usually better in french (in my own perspective, its easier to play with words, but I still prefer Harry Potter and Eragon in english. Their autors are geniuses).  We also accept other cultures in general and are open with foreign peoples and for me who loves the internetz, it's a really good point. However, there is something I'm not proud of my people: we are naĩve! We are in politics, we are with other people and we ESPECIALLY are with nature!

In here, we lived through winters for over 400 years. Still, today, we seem to forget there's gonna be snow at one point. It's honestly hylarious how people reacts to it, and it's even better if you don't have a car. I don't care about the cold weather and the snow, I actually like it. The government itself is distributing adds everywhere, on tv, in hospitals, in grocery stores, etc, and still people won't install their winter tires, or go buy a good pair or boots, or scarfs and gloves or anything else they should do. It's like they're waiting  for the blizzard to show up, just so they can rage at something. And when I say rage, I mean RAAAAAGE with 5 ''A'' so they can shout it at the sky itself!

Each year, it goes like this. Weathermans will predict a little bit of rain, it'll be a small snow dust. This should be a warning, but nope, not good enough for us. It'll be quiet and calm for a couple of days, and then BAM, 4 foot of snow overnight. It'll take everyone by surprise, everyone will be late, accidents everywhere, madness, etc etc etc. I'm telling you, it's hylariously retarded. Especially when I come back from work (I have to walk a bit), since I see people being angry at their own car, armed with their little snowbrush, literally fighting with the snow as if it was some sore of alien menace. Shouting, swearing, saying it's the fault of destiny//wife//kids//government//luck or whatever else they wanna cry about. Good times.

I could rage at my country, or even just at my province, for hours (especially on the politic side of it). This though... makes me happy. Will my people ever learn?

Making everything a little more presentable

Hello. If you came here from my youtube feed video, then I hope what you see is not too much for your eyes. I'd like feedback from you, opinions on what could change and what should stay, if you want to share your mind.

First of all, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! You cannot hear me, but I'm singing right now. It's probably better like this anyway...

Second, you should subscribe to this blog OR just visit once in a time. I'm planning to use this blog more and more, and it is a great place to ask me questions (since I'll write on this blog while I'm working. Away from my pc you see :D). I know most of you are literally afraid of Facebook, which is understandable, but I'm still planning to use both of these tools. For those who are using Facebook, remember to share with the ''Share to Facebook or Twitter''. Everytime you do it, Fire-Birdy cleans a soul of all evil (and it mainly makes me smile. No joking, it does). Same applies to commenting and etc.

Third, enough internet whoring! (lol).

Fourth,  I did a massive cleaning on all of my channels plus the blog. That includes channels colors and contents, descriptions, links to other channels, functioning and ordered playlists (with tags on them, I'm still trying to be known to mankind), and this blog. I'll probably put more work on said blog, but for now it'll do.

Fifth, Since it is nearly christmas, I will put a temporary stop to my videos posting. You know, family and stuff. I'll probably post my last video this 24 Dec. and come back two weeks after. If I have too many parts for Super Meat Boy, then I will simply post all of them at once. Cotton Alley will probably wait  for a while though. Even I need a break from everything and just enjoy my time.

Sixth, I'm thinking about maybe starting a Vlog on Youtube (yes, that means having to buy a webcam). As you may know, There is some non-partners view freezing going on, meaning youtube is not promoting video makers like me. Fine at the beginning, but now that I have some sort of bigger fan base (2k is not a small number for me), I'm thinking of ''expanding my empire''. Said vlog could be, well, anything. I have no idea if it will work or not, if you guys are interested, if it's worth it, or what should I talk about. I'm taking some notes and etc, and I want your opinion on this.

Seventh, More projects after christmas, both on the blog and on youtube. Again, merry Christmas, have a good time, and see you next time

Eighth, COOOOMMEEEENT!!!!

Making updates and stuff

Since I'm kind of expanding, I thought I'd work on my channels presentation. Especially to make sure the playlists are made correctly. However, after getting ready, making some coffee, drinking a good cup, and getting my notes....Youtube is in the middle of a maintenance.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF rage :D

Wasting energy here, Super Meat Boy is enough rage thank you. Meh, how about a feed on how things are working up.

Talking of Super Meat Boy, I just finished the Dark World 6: The End. Hopefully for my sanity, there's only 5 levels in it. It's still hard, but I realised I had MUCH MORE problems in worlds 3, 4, and 5. In world 3, you all saw the problems (especially in stages 3-7, 3-16 and 3-19. God I hate these levels!) Well, it's worse in worlds 4 and 5, where magma, abaddon creatures, and other monsters will start lurking, preying on you. The worst I had to see are the gravity traps. In games like Half-Life or Portal, gravity mechanics are awesome, enjoyable and great to play with. In Super Meat Boy, they will make you cry for mercy :S
In world 6, there's only 5 levels, and even if they're hard they're more...fair. They felt less maddening than the previous worlds and only took me 20 minutes of my life, which is really not bad considering the levels I previously completed. I won't jynx myself though. There's still the final boss to defeat. Both of them...

I also posted the first of two video featuring the warp and character zones. The first video contain all the zones from the first three worlds (with both of their light/dark counterparts) and the second video will show the zones from world 4 and 5. ''But Anza, that's one less world to enjoy, don't you think it's a bit short?'' Oh, but you're forgetting the ''The Guy'' warp zone. I already unlocked him, but, as I said in a comment somewhere, I will do it again. My soul will bleed, as my fingers, eyes and ears, but at least you shall enjoy my fails and rages. Ain't that wonderful?

There is also this secret world named Cotton Alley. It's...well...made by Satan and his best friend. Seriously, everything in this world will make you go mad in despair.  The incredibly stupid challenge level, the fact that there is 40 stages, the repeated deaths, the dumb music made to drive you crazy, PINK EVERYWHERE!!!!!!

...I did however defeated the last stage. On dark world. A+. The stage is called 'Bragging Rights''.

lol.

Oh, and more L4D2 videos soon. Don't go mad, I'm planning to post videos tomorrow (Dec. 13). I'm also making more.

I guess that's it. I'm getting into TF2 a bit more, exploring the classes, etc. It'll be for another time though.

I read every single comments I receive, and I reply to most of them (When there is something intelligible to say...Is that even in the english vocabulary?). If you want to contact me, simply go to:
